GRAND THEATRE - NATIONAL THEATRE OF VARIETY
Ten minutes walk from Sunny-Dee’s this is one of the few remaining theatres of great architectural character, designed by Frank Matcham and very recently completely refurbished. THE OPERA HOUSE & WINTER GARDENS 
The country’s largest theatre, with a seating capacity of almost 3000, the Opera House is a famous venue which has seen performances from the world’s greatest entertainers and shows, ever since it opened in 1939. Most recently fully refurbished it was the venue for the 2009 “Royal Variety Performance”.
